Gabriel Schray Introduced as “Voice of the Eagles” at Reinhardt University

Reinhardt University and the Eagles Athletics Department are thrilled to announce the appointment of Gabriel Schray as the new “Voice of the Eagles.” Schray will officially assume his role on August 31, as Reinhardt kicks off their football season at home against Faulkner University.

Schray is a 2018 graduate of Adrian College’s top-ranked Communication Arts and Sciences program, where he called hundreds of games as an undergraduate student. Post-graduation, Schray worked for two seasons as Director of Multimedia at Adrian College, where he served as lead play-by-play broadcaster on television and radio network broadcasts. Schray also graduated in 2021 from Spring Arbor University with a Masters of Arts in Leadership and Strategic Communication.

Schray expressed deep gratitude for being chosen to fill the role and call games.

“There are some incredible programs at Reinhardt,” Schray said. “It’s my responsibility to bring the stories of these athletes to life and share them with fans. I’m eager to earn the respect and trust of the Eagles community.”

Gabriel lives just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee in the Ooltewah area. He is the play-by-play voice of Chattanooga Football Club. He also broadcasts games on local radio, HBCU+, ESPN+, and has recently called SoCon Championships.
